General rules of Wax Clinic

1. Each Customer will be informed about the estimated time of waiting for the treatment; however, due to the nature of the procedure, the exact time may be difficult to determine.
2. Before a bikini waxing treatment, please use the bidet and take care of the hygiene of all areas of your body.
3. Minors are served exclusively with parental consent.
4. Only one customer may be present in the treatment room at a time.
5. Clothes should be placed in the designated location indicated by the esthetician (hanger, locker). Smooth Clinic is not responsible for the damage of possessions left in places other than indicated by the esthetician.
6. Do not perform the waxing procedure yourself. Do not touch the wax heater – spilling the wax may result in burning.
7. WAXING
8. Before the procedure, please inform the esthetician about any medication you are using and any cosmetic treatments you have undergone (particularly medication containing vitamin A and its derivatives, acne creams, acid treatments and exfoliating treatments).
9. Do not use tanning beds or saunas for at least two days preceding the waxing procedure.
10. You should exfoliate your body one day before the procedure.
11. Before the waxing procedure, do not apply greasy creams, balms or oils to the area which is to be waxed.
12. In order to increase the comfort of the treatment, the esthetician may ask you to help stretch your skin during the procedure.
13. During a waxing treatment performed on any area of the body, the epidermis may rupture. This does not have to be a result of incorrect performance of the procedure – it may be caused by the condition of the skin or the type of hair. During a Brazilian waxing procedure, which is more invasive, rupture or burning of the epidermis may occur.
14. Waxing may cause irritation of the skin, which, with proper care, should cease after several days. In some cases, depending on the health and sensitivity of the skin, waxing may result in wounds, scars, spots, skin allergies and other skin conditions, even when performed correctly.
15. In order to achieve satisfying results and increase the comfort of the procedure, the body hair should be from 0,5 cm to 1 cm in length before the waxing treatment.
16. After intimate waxing, the Customer applies a cosmetic (indicated by the esthetician) to the skin herself.
17. In order to avoid inflammation and redness, it is recommended (i) not to exfoliate the skin until 3 to 4 days after the treatment, (ii) not to use a tanning bed until 4 to 5 days after the treatment, (iii) not to use a sauna or swimming pool until 2 days after the treatment, (iv) avoid physical exertion for 2 days.
18. After armpit waxing, avoid using perfume and alcohol-based antiperspirants for 4 days in order to avoid irritation and discoloration of the skin.
19. THE ESTHETICIAN MAY REFUSE TO PERFORM THE TREATMENT, PARTICULARLY IN THE FOLLOWING CASES:
20. When the customer refuses to provide the information required for the registration of the treatment and sign the agreement to have the treatment performed.
21. When the customer is intoxicated.
22. When the skin is irritated, wounded or in a state suggesting a skin condition.
23. When the customer is not prepared for the procedure (she has not maintained hygiene or the length of the hair is inadequate).
